Reason #1: Price

You can hire another camp at $165 for 19.5 hours.
I was in Alaska and saw a banner for a camp:  $175 or three 2-and-a-half hours sessions.

But I'll give your athletes 27 hours for $165,
or they'll get that 19.5 hours for $117.

I don't give the campers pins, socks, balls, cups, knee pads or Tshirts.
That just adds additional expense, which will prevent some of your players from attending.

Reason #2: Location

STAR camps come right to your school!
Players will be comfortable, safe, and ready to learn!!

Reason #3: Personal Involvement
I have directed nearly all my camps in person.  Unless you request otherwise,
"staff" will not be directing your camp.

Reason #4: Your Team Will Get Just What It Needs!
There's no generic camp agenda on my website.
At a STAR camp, the host coach tells me what his/her players need:
Offense?  defense?  hitting?  digging?  serve receive?
Then I create the camp that fits the needs of the players.
Even on consecutive weeks, each camp is uniquely designed for the team we're working with!

Reason #5: Your Camp Will Have Its Own Webpage!
  Here's an example!
It will display whatever the host coach needs me to post: registration form, goals, prices, etc.
The site will list the camp's coaching staff, and maybe even some pictures of last year's team.
The players and parents can get all the info they need from the site.......
and they won't be emailing/calling you every day!
And then, after the camp is over, players and parents will be able to view and download dozen's of camp pictures!!

Reason #6: Individual Campers Will Get Exactly What They Need!
Coaches and players will get to know me and my staff personally.  We'll talk over each day's camp.
The coach will have my cell phone number and my email address so we can design the optimum camp.
Our planning together will ensure that each individual player is getting exactly what she wants/needs.

Reason #7:  Support After We Leave!
The host coach can email our staff or call our staff after the camp is over as often as necessary!
We will be there for the coach after the camp ends to answer any questions,
to share drills, to give advice!    Hey, we're a team!!

Reason #8: Does The Coach Need More Help?
If the coach needs even more from us next fall, we'll be there to help!!
One of the 2005 host coaches had lost an important match against her biggest rival.
So I scouted the opponent from the coach's video and a few days later we directed a practice together.
Then our team won the next two meetings against the rival.
Our team went on the regionals.  The other team didn't.

Reason #9:  The Special Relationship That'll Form Between Your Players and My Staff
It'll start with my staff giving your players "Good Kid" speeches on smart, team and attitude.
When the camp is over, your players will be able to email, text and IM me and my staff!
We're ready to be a source of support and encouragement for the players for years after the camp is over.

Reason #10:  We're Winners!
I have a winning attitude and I have a history of winning.  Touch here to see!

My 2006 Junior Team won the Old Dominion Region Bid, and advanced to the National Tournament.
Then my 2009 Junior Team again won the Old Dominion Region Bid and advanced to Nationals in Miami and were nationally ranked by PrepVball

My past five Junior teams have each been ranked #1in the Old Dominion Region.
I've coached 18 varsity teams and 9 Roanoke Juniors teams.......and have had 1 losing season!
My staff and I will bring that experience and winning attitude into your gym and share it with your players.

December 1, 2008.
Woohoo! The website you made for our camp is awesome coach!  I've been dreaming about bringing this kind of camp to my players for years   :)   Thanks for helping make it possible.

"I would rate [the national camp] equal to the instruction they received from you, but not better.   What I disliked about their camp was that the cost eliminated many of the young girls from attending."

Several years ago, I directed a camp at that high school.  Since then, the host coach decided to try a nationally advertised camp.  That's an email from the coach comparing our camps!
