Camp Director:
Barry Kane
Coach
Kane has immense experience in volleyball. He has been a high
varsity coach, a camp director and has been a STAR camp host in
2007 and
2009. He has been the head coach
at Timberlake Christian School near Lynchburg, Va coach for 14 years.
His teams were conference champs twice and were ranked in the top 8 in
the Virginia Division III final poll every year. His overall
coaching record is 208-85 (71% wins) His two daughters, Jessie and
Holly, currently play on the varsity team for Timberlake Christian
School (who made it to the State Division III Final Four). Coach
Kane is now a 7th grade teacher in Appomattox County, Virginia. He has
been married for 23 years to Cheryl. He is a perfect fit for
the director of this division!

Hollie Kane
Holly is the daughter of director Barry Kane!
She is a sophomore at Timberlake Christian School near Lynchburg Va. She
won the Coaches Award in Volleyball: 6th, 7th, and 9th grades, she was
named Miss All Around Volleyball: 8th grade. She started on varsity as a
freshman, and her team made it to the Final Four. She has played two
years of travel volleyball for Heart Of Virginia Juniors. You can

Jessie Kane
Jessie is the other daughter of Barry! She began playing volleyball for school in 6th grade.
She has been doing recreation volleyball since being in the 2nd grade.
She played 2 years of travel volleyball for the Heart Of Virginia
volleyball club. This past fall she was the senior captain on the Timberlake
Christian School volleyball team. She received the coaches award in

Jewel Hoornick
Jewel is a junior at Timberlake Christian. She
participated in the2009 Timberlake
STAR Camp was named Server of the Week! On previous teams
she's been on, she's been named
best server and best hitter. Jewel moved to Virginia last summer, and
attended Timberlake Christian School with Jessie & Holly for the
first time last fall. You
