It consisted of 200 acres in
the middle of downtown Atlanta. The 3.9 million square feet facility
was surrounded by landscaped plazas, public parking lots and two
landmarks: the 71,250-seat Georgia Dome and 21-acre Centennial
Olympic Park.

On the way home, the coaches encountered some incredible beauty!
First, on I-85 coming into Charlotte, a double rainbow. Then on
I-77 north, an incredible sunset.

The G.W.C.C. Opens......
The Georgia World
Congress Center will not open the outside doors until 6:45 am each day.
Ticket sales and access to the floor will start at 7:00 am. Matches WILL
NOT begin before 8:00 am. The only exception will be on Sunday April, 1
when the doors to B Hall ONLY will open at 6:00 am for Sunday Services.
Team Check-In!
Big South encourages team representatives to check-in their team on
Thursday March 29 from 4:00 pm to 8:30 pm in the main lobby. Picking up
your wristbands early will allow for you and your team to get through
the doors as quickly as possible.

Your Coolers and Chairs at Home
No coolers or portable chairs of any
kind or size will be permitted in the GWCC. Neither Big South or the
GWCC will assume responsibility for coolers or providing a place for
them. Please leave them at your hotel or in your car. Seating is
provided for spectators around each court.
Large bags and luggage will not be permitted inside the playing hall.
There will be a luggage check in the main lobby of the GWCC on Sunday to
assist teams in be able to leave for the airport directly from the
venue.

"How to
Get College Coach's Attention" Seminar
Big South is delighted
to provide a free seminar to parents and athletes Thursday March
29 at 5:30 pm in room 8309 at the Georgia World Congress Center.
The subject will be free and inexpensive ways that athletes can
reach out to the right schools and make them want to come watch
you. We will have at least one Division 1 college coach on hand
to give an honest perspective about what works and what doesn't.
There will be no sales pitch. Just great information that will
help you make the most out of your recruiting experience.
Topics will include:

How to use
your free profile on University Athlete (used by 98% of the
coaches who attend Qualifiers and other large tournaments)
to make sure your recruiting data is correct at every event.

Do's and
Don'ts when contacting schools.
-
Tips for
finding the right fit.
-
Easy ways
to build and post on the internet a highlight video that
shows what colleges want to see.
The
seminar is open to all Big South Participants and will held in
the Georgia World Congress Center. Seating will be limited so
please arrive a little early. Guest
Registration for the Big South is required prior to
attendance.

Advanced Parking Information
To Reserve Your Parking Place:
The GWCC is offering reserve-your-spot parking.
Many of us did
this in 2010 and 2011 .... and I did it Sat March 3rd for the 2012
tournament
Pre-pay and reserve your parking at the following link.

From here, click on “Online Parking Permits”, select “General
Admission” and then select “Big South National Qualifier”.
Parking passes are able to be purchased for all days. You will
be asked to complete
the payment information, print out the confirmation and submit the
print-out to the parking attendant to be scanned. This reserved our spot... guaranteed.
I recommend you hurry because only so many spaces were made
available to this program.
